When should I attend Hypnobirthing® classes?

Generally, the sooner the better: the sooner you learn the techniques the more time you'll have to practice. Results are best when mum is introduced to hypnosis at least a few weeks before the birth. That way she (and her birth partner) can practice the hypnosis skills she'll use during her birthing.

Whilst taking a class earlier enables both mum and baby to enjoy the maximum benefit of relaxation and positive expectation during the pregnancy HypnoBirthing® can be of benefit at any stage of pregnancy in enabling you to have the best possible birth, so it is never too late to start and even late introduction is better than no hypnosis at all. Contact your Certified HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator for more information and to discuss your situation.
